Pillows with millet hulls have been used in Europe for hundreds of years. Millet seeds are tiny in size, round, and amazingly smooth. When the hulls are separated from the seeds, these tiny empty shells retain their smooth and velvety texture. Unlike buckwheat hulls that are more sturdy and rough, millet hulls feel silky to our touch. Yet although they feel velvety as we touch them, millet hulls are capable of fully supporting the weight of our head and neck without losing their form. The smooth and velvety feel of the tiny millet hulls make them a perfect pillow filling: There is a constant shifting of the hull material as you move while air freely passes through the filling. This constant ventilation of hull pillows keeps them fluffy and fresh. Regular use this kind of pillow with its complete support for head and neck will soothe muscle tensions, offer relief from shoulder/neck tightness, and help prevent headaches. The millet hull filling will adjust itself to the individual form and weight of your head to provide important spinal alignment. Our millet hulls are grown and harvested right here in the United States without any pesticides or fumigation chemicals. We manufacture, fill, and package all our pillows in our immaculate warehouses in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our millet hull pillows will have a life span of a minimum of 10 years. They are made with unbleached cotton and have double seams to counter the weight of the hull filling and prevent wear-out. Millet hull pillows are temperate, which means they do not naturally take on heat or cold. Our millet hulls are 99% dust free. The process of dust ventilation separates 99% of all dust particles, the remaining residue of the millet seeds, and all foreign matter from the hulls. They are thus clean, hypo-allergenic, and perfect for use as pillow fillings.
